Rewards, Rewards, Rewards!

Remember in a previous post I mentioned that we created a Reward Box for Braylon to encourage his eating @ supper time? Well...we have another situation on our hands...he's been waking up in the night, anywhere between 3-5am to go to the bathroom...and he use to sleep the whole night thru. So...I decided to try to use the Reward Box...when we put him down @ bedtime we encourage him to try to sleep the whole nite thru & if he does then he can pick a reward out of the box for us to do that day. Of course if he does wake up in the night, we do take him potty...anyway...last Tues. night it worked!!! So Braylon drew "Play A Game." He chose his new Chutes & Ladders game he got for Christmas from Uncle Kendall, Aunt Julia, & family.

Here's the winner! Seriously...he beat me fair & square!

One of his supper rewards was "Choose whatever to do from your Arts & Crafts bin"...and he chose to paint!

I grabbed an old shirt of mine & have now dubbed it as the painting shirt! Isn't he cute in it?

Another supper reward..."Play with Play-doh!" You might be thinking, hmm...he already played w/play doh in that previous post but that reward was "You get to choose what you want to do!" & he had chosen play-doh. Anyway...here's a pic...he wanted to keep his painting shirt on.
Another supper reward..."Play with Rainy Day Box" even if it's not raining! Daddy & him did this reward while I was out playing Bunco.
So rewarding him for sleeping the whole night thru & not having to go potty in the middle of the night only lasted one night...until a whole week later...he finally slept thru the night again last night...so he drew "Play Sega." Here he is playing "Sonic the Hedgehog" game on our Sega Genesis that we got at a yard sale for $5.00 years ago, like when we were 1st married!
And then tonight I went out to eat for Women's Nite & Braylon ate his supper well so he drew "Play w/the remote control truck" but Ben forgot to take a picture!

So apparently now the Supper Reward Box became just a Reward Box for all different reasons we need it for!

Oh yeah, and I did call his dr. first to see if they thought he needed to get checked out but they think it's just a phase he's going thru!

Let's hope & pray it works for 2 nights in a row of sleeping thru the night!!!
