1. Dec. 23 - "Play Games" - the 1st night that Ben was home for vacation we played a game! This is a "Word World" memory game.
2. Dec. 26 - "Train store" - we were @ my parents' house for Christmas & there's a train store about 20 min. from them - we see it advertised @ the end of a video that Braylon rents from the library. So we finally took him there!
3. Dec. 26 - "Train at U.P. Mall" - there's a train @ the U.P. Mall that parents & children can ride on for $3 (which includes one parent & one child), so of course this activity made the list! On our way home from my parents' house we stopped @ the mall to ride the train.
4. Dec. 26 - "Krispy Kreme" - and then after that we stopped @ Krispy Kreme to get delicious donuts for our breakfasts next wk.
5. Dec. 27 - Braylon added "Play Together" for the list...when we asked him what he wanted to play together...he said "play on Daddy's iPod!" So this is the 3 of us playing some games on Ben's iPod.
6. Dec. 27 - "Movie Night" - we watched Braylon's new Thomas movie, Hero of the Rails, that he got from Grandpa & Grandma Y. for Christmas.
7. Dec. 28 - "Make a new track" - We've had this same track set up for some time. So Braylon decided he wanted a new track. This is him taking it all part. The 3 of us had fun creating a new masterpiece.
8. Dec. 28 - "Meijer for Braylon's gift" - In Braylon's stocking, we gave him a certificate to get a fish becuz we wanted him to be able to pick it out. Here we are @ Meijer...Braylon's pointing to what fish he wants. We ended up coming back with FOUR fish!!! We got: Red delta guppy (a.k.a. Rheneas), Gold algae eater (a.k.a. Murdoch), Jumbo neon (a.k.a. Donald), & Glowlite tetra medium (a.k.a. Douglas). All 4 names are named after Thomas the Tank Engine's friends. As I type this, Donald is no longer with us! :(
Helping Daddy carry the fishies to his room.9. Dec. 29 - "Davis Mercantile" - 11 months ago we took a trip to Davis Mercantile to celebrate Braylon being potty trained. So I wanted to make it a yearly trip. We all 3 rode on the carousel. Then Braylon had to play on the Thomas train table @ the Toy Store.
10. Dec. 29 - "Eat Out" - My original plan was to eat @ JoJo's Pretzel @ Davis Mercantile but I saw the day's special @ The Daily Bread (which is also @ Davis Mercantile) & it sounded good...chicken salad sandwich w/Corn Chowder soup!!! So we ate there. And they had already run out of the soup! We had to settle for Brocolli Cheddar soup which was good but it wasn't what we came for. On the way out, we did have to stop by JoJo's Pretzel & buy one for on the go...there's no way I can be @ Davis Mercantile w/o getting a soft pretzel there!
11. Dec. 30 - "Our Mall" - Braylon loves to watch the electric train go around here @ our mall.

12. Jan. 2 - "Play in the snow" - Here's one of my favorite pics of Braylon playing in the snow. I'm sure when he suggested this idea he did not mean to play w/Jade. But thankfully that day he didn't mind Jade at all!
13. Jan. 3 - "Chinese food" - Sunday was our last day of vacation so after church I asked Ben if we could go out for lunch. We decided to invite our friends Pete & Kris & their 2 children, Emma & Andrew. We went to Jade Garden for some delicious Chinese food! Thanx, Pete & Kris for joining us. We had fun & it was good to catch up again!14. Jan. 3 - "Bowling" - When we told Braylon that vacation was over with, he said "what about bowling?" That too was on our list. So we surprised him after supper. He LOVED bowling. It was his 2nd time going but this time he just loved it! It was so neat & fun to see him enjoying it. Definitely different from last Spring.
...here are our scores. No, Braylon isn't that much better than us...he had bumper rails & a ramp to push his ball down...so he didn't get any gutters.

Tis the end to our awesome Vacation Week! Thank you, Ben, for taking the week off to spend with Bray & I! We both absolutely loved it!!!
