Kindergartener!!!!!

I can't believe my baby is going to be going to Kindergarten! Ok, this is me talking in the past tense becuz when I am posting this Braylon actually only has 6 days left of Kindergarten! And I am just posting about him getting started! Oh boy! But by now you know that's just me...always posting late, late, late! I'm seriously trying to "catch-up!" I am ONLY 9 months behind! Ok, enough about me & my procrastinating or whatever it is...on to my BIG BOY!

4/26/11 was Kindergarten Round-Up! Here's Braylon on his way... 

 

  to Oxbow School! 

Here we are in the cafeteria...Ben & I had LOTS of paperwork to fill out! There was an activity sheet for Braylon to work on while we did our work.

 

After all that hard work, we were able to go see what a Kindergarten classroom looks like! How fun! Guess whose room we got to look at?! Mrs. Yoder's room! How neat is that since we are Yoders too!

There was also a school bus there for the kiddos to check out!

4 Months later, we get to go to a Kindergarten Open House!

 

Guess who Braylon has for his Kindergarten teacher??? MRS. YODER!!! Yeah! We found out later that we are distantly related.

Mrs. Yoder, Braylon, & Mrs. Gove (sign language teacher, there will be 3 hearing impaired students in his class). Mrs. Yoder is pregnant so when he comes back from Christmas break he'll have a different teacher. Mrs. Gove will still be there though.

 

8/22/11 - My Big Boy's 1st day of Kindergarten! I wake Braylon up @ 7:30am. He gets dressed, eats breakfast, brushes teeth, puts on shoes & backpack, & leaves the house @ 8:20am to catch his bus!

Bus #7 comes around 8:25-8:30am. Guess who his bus driver is?! MRS. YODER! Isn't that just crazy?! His bus driver & teacher are both Mrs. Yoder!

Braylon sits @ the 2nd window! Ben's reflection is in the bus door! He came home from work to see Braylon get on the bus for the 1st day! Isn't he the greatest Dad?!

 

Nope, I didn't cry. Probably cuz I had Jaydon w/me. He kept me distracted. Yes, this is me following the school bus! :) I just HAVE to know what his bus route is so I know how he gets to school. He only has 2 stops after his & then it's straight to school. The bus goes the exact same route as if I would be going to his school from home. It's only a 5 min. ride which makes me one happy mom! :)

Jaydon & I sat in the parking lot & waited for Braylon to get off the bus. The man on the rt. is the school principal, Mr. Butler.

Braylon finally saw me! He was happy to see me even tho the picture tells a different story! :)

 What did Jaydon & I do on our 1st day without Braylon? Well, we went shopping, of course! :)

 And we visited Ben at work!

 And acted silly!

 And read books!

And before we knew it...it was time to go pick Braylon up @ the bus stop! He's getting off the bus! He had a GREAT 1st day! He LOVES school! I am one happy & proud Mama!

After supper, we decided to go to Flavor Freeze to celebrate Braylon's 1st day of school w/icecream!
